Max includes everything in the Pro plan, plus:
Highest level of access to the full suite of advanced AI models: Get faster access to the latest models from OpenAI, Anthropic, and others in Perplexity Research, and create files and apps with minimal limits on volume or frequency.
Extended limits for Create files and apps queries: Create as many reports or projects as you need using advanced tools to create dashboards, spreadsheets, presentations, and web applications.

The Organization File Repository is being retired on October 1, 2026 and is not available as a new Enterprise entitlement. Existing customers should download and move their organization files before the deadline. Files remaining after that date will be deleted.

Yes. You can upgrade or downgrade your plan at any time in your account settings. For Perplexity Pro, cancel before deleting your account to avoid being charged.

Trial and promotional subscriptions: payment method required
If you’ve redeemed a trial or promotional subscription (for example, through a partner promotion), a valid payment method is required to activate and maintain your access.
Overall requirements
A valid credit or debit card is required for all promotional and trial redemptions.
No charges are applied during your promotional/trial period.
Unless you cancel before the trial ends, your subscription will auto-renew at the standard rate for the plan you selected during redemption (monthly or annual).
New users vs. existing users
New users are prompted to add a payment method during the sign-up and redemption flow.
Existing promotional/trial users who receive a payment method prompt must add a credit or debit card within 7 days of the original notification. If no card is added within that window, your account will be downgraded to Perplexity’s free version. Once you add a valid card, your promotional access resumes immediately. Any missed days will not be added back to your trial period.

In-app: An in-app banner will appear prompting you to add your payment information.
